On July 10, 2017 the Thorsby/Breton RCMP was notified of a break and enter to the Mulhurst Bay Community Centre.
Sometime during the night of July 9 or early morning of July 10 a door was pried open and entry was gained to the building. Several items were stolen including approximately $200 in petty cash, the security system hard drive and financial documents.
A shed and shipping container were also broken into were other items were stolen including a weed eater.
