Re/Max Discover and Wetaskiwin Agencies Ltd are having a food drive for the local Wetaskiwin Salvation Army on Dec.9, 2021.
This food drive in time for the holidays is the first annual one hosted by Re/Max Discover says Simone Bredlow, however if it goes well she says they would love to continue to host in the future.
“We all wanted to do something to support our local community and we though this would be a great way to give back and everyone is able to participate,” says Bredlow.
If you bring a grocery bag of non-perishable food items, household products, or personal hygiene items to the Re/Max Discover and Wetaskiwin Agencies Ltd offices at 5409 36 Ave and 5403 36 Ave Wetaskiwin on Dec.9, 2021 between 2p.m. and 6 p.m. you will be entered to win two tickets to an Edmonton Oilers home game.
The hosts will also be serving coffee, hot chocolate and treats to celebrate the holidays during the food drive.
