8 to 10 Pork Chops (fat removed)
Dip chops in flour. Use oil in pan for browning both sides. When all chops are browned , make sauce.
Sauce:
3 cups cold water
1 pkg. chicken bouillon
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 clove garlic (optional)
Bring to boil. Add:
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soya sauce
1 Tbsp. Vinegar
Seasoning salt (use sparingly)
Pour sauce over chops in pan or roaster big enough to hold chops.
If you like garlic, add 1 clove crushed to sauce.
Simmer on top of stove for 2 hours or in a slow oven. Serve with potatoes or plain rice. If one prefers a thicker sauce, add 1 Tablespoon flour to cold water before cooking. Use 1/4 cup of sherry in sauce to improve flavour.
