A group of talented artists around the Pigeon Lake region are holding a large show and sale this month. The Pigeon Lake Artist’ Society will be holding their annual show and sale June 24 at the Village at Pigeon Lake’s Village Creek Country Inn.

Society member Margot Soltice said the work of the following members will be on display: Betty Alberg, Ken Alberg, Donna Brunner, Gail Farewell, Judy Hauge, Marcia Schmidt, Dale Shuttleworth, Margot Soltice, Penny Stokes and Nancy Strandquist. All of the artists are residents of the Pigeon Lake region.

The artists group is enjoying its 26th year. Soltice noted all of the artists will be on hand to speak with guests about their work. Disciplines represented include pottery, watercolours, acrylic and possibly some fiber art as well. Soltice noted two high school students have also been invited to display their work as well.

Soltice said the society loves to put on the show and sale to illustrate the diverse and talented group of artists in the region.

The show and sale will run in the Village Creek Country Inn from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
