In loving memory ~
It is with much sadness, yet a deep sense of gratitude, that we share that our precious mother, grandmother & great-grandmother, Hertha "Hattie" Kellert (nee Renner) transitioned to her heavenly home on April 24, 2023, surrounded by her three children.
Mom was predeceased by her parents; her beloved husband of 67 years, Leo; brothers John, Adolph, Eddie, George, Arnold and sisters Emilie Schultz and Olga Taylor as well as her grandson Chad Milke.
She is survived by her three children, Linda (Chuck) Milke, Ruth (Doug) Pipke, Ben (Tanny) Kellert; her grandchildren, Stacey (Chris) VanDewark (and their children Hattie & Etta), Josh (Aila) Kellert (and their children, Hadassah & Leo), Annie Pipke, and Matthew (Rebekah) Pipke; her sisters, Margie Schmidtke and Hilda (Albert) Hiller as well as many nieces and nephews.
We are deeply grateful to all those who tended to her care over the last several months of her life, including the staff at Peace Hills Lodge, Good Shepherd Home and the staff at Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre. We wish to express immense gratitude to Joan Arychuk, Auntie Hilda, Don Renner, Donna Sherwood and Mamie Wenger for the many hours they spent with mom during the most critical days at Good Shepherd as well as the many family and friends who stopped by to brighten mom's last few weeks on this earth.
Visitation will take place on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Baker Funeral Chapel, 5302-50 Ave, Wetaskiwin from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 pm. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Wetaskiwin
