A new Starbucks location is now open in the City of Wetaskiwin.

Previously the only Starbucks in the City was located in the Safeway on the south side of the City. This second location, next to the Boston Pizza, at 4910 55A Street Wetaskiwin, right at the corner of 56 Street and 50 Ave includes a drive-through.

The Starbucks shares the building with Moe’s Barber Shop’s new location and a new Booster Juice that is set to move in.

The new Starbucks opened for the first time on Dec. 10, 2020 to eager customers excited for a new location to get their coffee favourites and holiday drinks.

City of Wetaskiwin’s Mayor, Tyler Gandam, even swung by the new location this morning for a latte. He shared a post on the Mayor Tyler Gandam Facebook page congratulating the new location on their opening.

The post was met by many excited comments from Wetaskiwin residents.

The Starbucks drive-through is open for drive-through or take out, in-person dining is closed unavailable due to COVID-19.
