All County of Wetaskiwin COVID-19 cases recovered

The County of Wetaskiwin currently has zero active cases, the City of Wetaskiwin has two.

Following a spike in Alberta’s COVID-19 active cases after the Labour Day long weekend, the highest the province’s numbers have been since May, active cases in the Wetaskiwin area are decreasing.

As of the data updated on Sept.9, 2020 by the Government of Alberta, all four of the County of Wetaskiwin’s active cases have now recovered.

The City of Wetaskiwin’s active cases however, have increased from one to two. The City of Wetaskiwin has had 14 recovered cases since the start of the pandemic.

The recorded active cases for the area are subject to change following the afternoon updates from Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, on the provinces new cases.
