City of Wetaskiwin under 10 active cases; single active case in County

Active COVID-19 cases in the City and County of Wetaskiwin continue to drop.

Things are looking up for Wetaskiwin residents as active COVID-19 cases go down.

As of the most recent COVID-19 numbers update via the Government of Alberta’s aggregate data map on Feb. 27, 2021, active case numbers are low for the County and City of Wetaskiwin.

The City of Wetaskiwin currently has seven active cases of COVID-19.

The County of Wetaskiwin has only a single active case of the virus.

On Sunday the province identified 301 new cases of COVID-19 and three additional deaths. 250 people are currently hospitalized across the province, 34 of which are central zone hospitalizations.

According to Maskwacis Health Services in their most recent update on Friday Feb. 26, 2021, Maskwacis has 12 active cases.
