Leduc RCMP Drug Unit charge male for drug trafficking

The arrest resulted in the seizure of 64 grams of cocaine and four grams of heroin.

On June 23, 2021, Leduc RCMP Drug Unit with the assistance of Leduc RCMP Crime Reduction Unit and Beaumont General Investigation Section arrested a male in Beaumont following a week long drug trafficking investigation.

The arrest resulted in the seizure of 64 grams of cocaine and four grams of heroin.

Amin Rafiei, 27, of Edmonton was charged with:

• Trafficking controlled substance- Cocaine;

• Trafficking controlled substance- Heroin;

• Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking- Cocain;

• Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking- Heroin.

Rafiei was released from custody to appear in Leduc Provincial Court on August 5, 2021.
