Leduc RCMP searching for a man accused of threatening two

Leduc RCMP is looking for a man who’s charged with uttering threats to two people in the city.

On April 10, at about 5:15 p.m., an unknown male allegedly approached two occupants in a vehicle at Fred Johns Park in an aggressive manner, attempted to break the vehicle’s driver-side window, and made threats to harm one of the occupants of the vehicle, Leduc RCMP said in a media release on Monday, April 29.

The occupants left the area safely in their vehicle and reported the incident to police, the release stated. No weapon was seen during the altercation.

The male suspect is described as being approximately, 6-feet tall, slim build, short dark hair with dark eyes.

The male had a goatee and was wearing a tan shirt and dark blue jeans.

The suspect was driving a grey Chevrolet or GMC-style extended cab pickup truck. It’s believed the male may have interacted with another female at the park who was in a white Mercedes SUV.

RCMP would like to speak with the female about the incident.
