On June 2, 2020 Wetaskiwin Integrated Traffic Services conducted a joint forces enforcement and education campaign on Highway 2A in the Town of Millet.

Members were stopping commercial vehicles and motor vehicles with vehicle equipment deficiencies.

RCMP traffic members, Alberta Sheriff Highway Patrol and Alberta Sheriff Commercial Vehicle Enforcement were involved.

As a result of the campaign, Wetaskiwin Integrated Traffic Services did five commercial vehicle inspections, issued 16 violation tickets, and located one suspended drive. They also handed out two seat belt charges, one cannabis charge and two warnings.

Wetaskiwin Integrated Traffic Services is comprised of RCMP and Alberta Sheriffs.
