Wetaskiwin RCMP search for suspects following a cannabis store break-in

Wetaskiwin RCMP is searching for two suspects after an alleged break-and-enter at a cannabis store in Pigeon Lake.

On May 8 at 2:15 a.m., police were dispatched to a break-and-enter at the Firestone Cannabis store at the Villages of Pigeon Lake, the forces said in a media release.

Video surveillance showed two individuals wearing dark clothing and driving what appeared to be a Honda FIT.

The suspects pried the door open with a crowbar and reportedly stole an unknown amount of product from the store.

Wetaskiwin RCMP is seeking public assistance to identify the suspects responsible.

Police advised that people should not try to interrupt a crime in progress or approach any suspicious person(s) or vehicle(s).
