What are the possibilities for the Wetaskiwin Regional Airport? Check out the draft Wetaskiwin Regional Airport Master Plan on Nov. 27.

The session is the next step in the Wetaskiwin Regional Airport Master Plan process being undertaken for the City of Wetaskiwin by HM Aero Aviation Consulting, exploring the future economic and development potential of the Wetaskiwin Regional Airport.

The City is inviting the community to share their feedback on the draft Master Plan before it is presented to Council on Dec. 11.

Running from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Wetaskiwin Regional Airport Terminal, 6301 47 Ave., Wetaskiwin, the engagement session is a chance to learn more and have your say. You can also review the draft plan here, before the session.

The Nov. 27 public session follows an open house and public survey held earlier this fall and an earlier draft report, based on industry best practices, research, and feedback from key airport tenants, businesses, and organizations in Phase 1 of the project.

The draft of the Regional Airport Master Plan includes research completed to date on the airport’s role, growth opportunities and regional context, as well as the preliminary investments to support the feasible and sustainable growth of the airport. It also includes feedback from previous engagement sessions.

Learn more and find copies of both reports at Wetaskiwin Regional Airport Master Plan | What if Wetaskiwin.
