Police search for unrelated missing youth

Wetaskiwin RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two missing youth.

Fifteen year old Tyrese Louis Smallboy was last seen on June 23 at 5 p.m. at the Wetaskiwin Library.  Smallboy is an aboriginal male with dark, shoulder length hair, a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. He may also use the name Cody Lightwood. The last contact anyone made with Smallboy was over Facebook when he indicated he was in Calgary. Police could not confirm if this was indeed Smallboy messaging.

Police are also looking for 16 year old Abigail Birch. Birch left her residence in Wetaskiwin sometime between 10 p.m. on June 24 and 7 a.m. on June 25. Birch is described as Caucasian, 5’5”, slender build, red colored hair that is shoulder length in the front and short in the back. It is unknown what she was last wearing. A recent Facebook post suggested that Birch may be headed to B.C. Not photo was available at this time.

These two incidences are not related.
