Speed Limit Change
The Speed Limit on 44 avenue has been reduced from 50 km/hr to 30 km/hr.
Utility Bills
Effective January 1, 2016, Capital Region Southwest Water Service Commission has increased the price of water purchased by the Town of Calmar by 11.6 per cent. This increase necessitates an increase to the bi-monthly charge for water on all residential/commercial accounts. This increase will be reflected on the January/February, 2016 billing. The flat rate of water will increase by $5.60.
Public Skating & Shinny Hockey
The January Calendar has now been posted on our Facebook page and our website (Recreation - Public Skating and Shinny). Shinny is Fri. Feb. 19 from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., public skating is Wed. Feb. 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and shinny is Fri. Feb.. 26 from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
