Stolen front-end loader found near Wetaskiwin gravel quarry

Wetaskiwin RCMP say construction vehicle abandoned after theft

On February 28th, 2018 Wetaskiwin RCMP received a complaint of a stolen $175,000 construction loader. The loader was stolen from the area of 47st and 39 Ave, in the southeast corner of Wetaskiwin. The gate to the business was damaged during the theft.

The loader was equipped with GPS and was located in the Wetaskiwin gravel pit on Range Road 235 and Township Road 454.‎

No suspects have been identified at this time and investigation continues.
