Thorsby RCMP make arrest during break and enter in progress

The residence was not occupied at the time of the offence

At approximately 8:57 p.m. on March 26th, Thorsby/Breton RCMP were dispatched to alarm at a residence in Wetaskiwin County. When RCMP members arrived, it was determined that a subject was inside the residence committing a break and enter.

RCMP contained the residence and Shane Mirandola, 45, was arrested without incident. The residence was not occupied at the time of the offence.

A Judicial Interim Release hearing was held and Mirandola was charged with one count of breaking, entering, and committing. Mirandola was released to appear in Wetaskiwin Provincial Court on June 11th, 2020.
