Wetaskiwin Chamber of Commerce elects new board members

The newest members of the board are Tony Goode, Miles Cymbaluk, Wayne Di Lallo and Alar Askberg.

The newly re-named Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce is operating with a board of 11 members this year, rather than 12, and elected four new members to the board at its March 23 annual general meeting (AGM).

The newest members of the board are Tony Goode, Miles Cymbaluk, Wayne Di Lallo and Alar Askberg.

Goode is semi-retired and oversees the MLA’s office in Wetaskiwin. According to a short presentation during the AGM he was the city manager of Wetaskiwin from 2001 to 2010 and since then has served in management positions in a variety of other municipalities. He believes his knowledge of local politics will help move the chamber forward.

Cymbaluk is a managing partner with SirrsLLP. He has resided and worked in Wetaskiwin since 1990 and wants to add a progressive voice to the chamber. He has had experience in the community with different projects.

Di Lallo is a past board member of the Wetaskiwin and District Chamber of Commerce, works in management and career training and is a certified life skills coach. He has operated Direction for Wellness since 2010.

According to his presentation introduction, Askberg is the president of the Wetaskiwin Stock Car Club, would like to see the chamber have a successful future and is a dedicated solution finder.
