Art went to be home with the Lord on April 14, 2018.
He was born in Millet, Alberta on December 28, 1930, and farmed near Millet most of his life.
Art is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth; daughter, Eileen (Art) Roth; grandchildren, Michael (Marla) Roth; great grandchildren, Kiya, Becca and Selah; grandchildren, Loretta (Aaron) Moysey; and great grandchildren, Maria, Kathrine, Sarah, Sydney and Patrick; daughter, Janice (Cal) Lamb of Claresholm; grandchildren, Holly (David) Mackenzie, Eric Lamb and Michelle (Josh) Klopstra; great grandchildren, William, Annika, Noah and Josiah; sister, Adena Forth; and sisters-in-law, Shirley Ertman and Marilyn Ertman.
Art was predeceased by his parents, Kris and Wilhelmina Ertman; brothers, Ben and Howard Ertman; brothers-in-law, Ralph Smith and Rudy Forth; nieces, Barbara Ertman and Cindy Potts; nephews, Gregory Ertman and Bob Smith. He will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Wetaskiwin Mission Church, with interment at the Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery.
