In loving memory ~
Carl was the youngest child of Andrew and Louisa Buskas of RR2 Wetaskiwin, the last survivor of their family. He spent most of his life farming with his brothers in the Malmo area and enjoyed hunting, fishing, picking berries, making sausage, and playing cards all night. He retired from farming in the mid-eighties, then lived in Wetaskiwin with his sister, Adela and enjoyed many fishing trips. One of his highlights was a trip to Hawaii they took together. After Adela's passing, he moved into Peace Hills Lodge until going into hospital a month prior to his passing. He will be missed by his niece and nephews who visited and cared for him, Don (Marj), Reg (Louise), Lori; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family.
Carl was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Louisa; brothers, John, Julius, Ernest, Ted, Emil, Verner; sisters, Anna, Adeline, Adela; ,and four infant siblings. A Graveside Service took place at Svea Cemetery on August 21, 2023. In memory of Carl, donations may be made to the Charity of the Donors Choice.
