In loving memory ~
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Gerry on September 7, 2023, at the Good Shepard Lutheran Home at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Christine; son, Troy (Holly); daughters, Robyn (Christopher Gukert), and Kristen (Richard Bowie); seven grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters and their families; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law and their families.
Gerry was predeceased by his younger sister, Cheryl; parents, Gus & Beryl Monea; father-in-law, Tom Langmuir; favourite uncle, Bill Monea; and second father, Ross Ashmore.
A Celebration of Gerry's life will be held at the farm on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. A time of fellowship and a lunch will follow. In memory of Gerry, donations may be made to the Glenrose Hospital Foundation, Good Shepard Lutheran Home or the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
