In Loving Memory ~
On January 23, 2024, Lore Hanne Pohl of Wetaskiwin passed away at the age of 95.
She was the matriarch of the family and is survived by her sons, Bill (Lori) and Dallas (Tamara) Pohl; grandchildren of whom she was especially proud - Taryn, Jena (David Mason), Clayton, Brennan, Klea, and Tienna; close and valued relationships with her nieces and nephews, Bernice (Ralph) Courtorielle, Anita (Howard) Scott, Lorraine (Timothy) Ulmer, Dennis (Melva) Pohl, Doug (Karen) Pohl along with her many great-nieces and nephews.
Great friendships were shared inside and outside her community which she was very grateful for.
Lore is predeceased by her husband Howard Pohl; parents, Paul and Katie Mayer; sister Barbara Geres; brother Klaus Mayer; brothers and sister in-law, Erwin Pohl, Art Pohl, Jack Geres, Heinz Wartenberg, and Elsie Pohl.
A Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Wetaskiwin on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with an interment to follow at St. Johns Cemetery alongside her husband.
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to a charity of the donor's choice.
