It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murray George Elder of Wetaskiwin at the age of 76 years.
Murray will lovingly be remembered by his devoted wife of 48 years Goldie; son, Darcy (Tammy); grandchildren, Madison & Mason; daughter, Tracy (Trevor) Posein; granddaughters, Taylor & Tiana; siblings, Jeane Gustin, Joanne (Bernard) Kroening, Ron (Ethel) Elder, Colleen (Gordon) Churchill; special niece, Valerie Weins; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Murray was predeceased by his parents, Staunton & Ruth Elder; father & mother-in-law, Ray & Martha Luoma; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene & Armin Illenseer; and brother, Robert Elder.
A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association (Diabetes Canada, 1300-522 University Avenue, Toronto, ON M5G 2R5), The Kidney Foundation (11227 Jasper Ave #202, Edmonton, AB T5K 0L5), or The Alberta Cancer Society (10123 99 St NW #710, Edmonton, AB T5J 3H1).
