It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Oren Sloan on October 31, 2019.
Our son, your birth into this world was the most perfect day. Watching you grow up, answering your many questions and teaching you throughout your brief time on this earth has changed our lives. We're grateful for the happy memories you gave us: adventures, hiking, travelling, skiing, building, fixing, camping and so many more. Your little brothers and big sister were beyond blessed to have you.
Oren was loving to everyone he met. He was always a prankster and kept you laughing. Thank you Oren, for sharing your life with us.
Oren Sloan is the beloved son of Jason & Maggie Sloan and Karmen & Michael Evoy; and the loving brother to Jasper, Finnley and Evin. He is a cherished grandson of Judy & Wayne Vandemark, David Sloan, Jane & George Ballard, and Karen & Dave Evoy.
Oren is a special nephew of Matthew & Amy Sloan, Tyrel & Ashley Vandemark, Vanessa & Glenn Ristesund, Lance & Amanda Daly, Andy & Shauna Marshall, and Nick & Alana Marshall.
Oren is much loved by many cousins and close friends.
Forever we are changed by you. Your light will guide us through the darkness, your hands will pull us through our grief and your smile, we will forever keep in our memory.
A Memorial Service was held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Baker Funeral Chapel in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.
