Phyllis Rose Kluczny of Winfield, Alberta passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the age of 85 years.
Phyllis was born in Millet, Alberta, the eighth child of Arthur and Mary Cartier. The family later moved to Winfield, where she met the love of her life, Walter. They were married on November 4, 1952, and to this union seven children were born.
Phyllis was a life-time farmer's wife, who enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends.
"Phyllis' kind and generous ways will be missed. She may be gone from our sight, but she will never be gone from our hearts."
Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her children: David, Cathy (George) Ollenberger, Carol (Charles) Collisson, Michael, Brenda (Lyle) Swanson, Annette (Neil) Buschert, and Rita (Barry) Clarkson.
She will also be greatly missed by her fourteen grandchildren: Michael, Christie, and Brennen Kluczny; Paul and Devin Ollenberger, and Melaney Brownlee; Darryl and Shannon Collisson; Jordan and Madison Swanson; Garrett and Dylan Buschert; and Austin and Emily Clarkson; as well as her great grandchildren: Benjamin, Lyra, and Violet.
Phyllis will also be missed by her sister, Shirley (Don) Laczo; her sisters-in-law: Doris Kluczny, and Enid Cartier; her brother-in-law, Clarence Kluczny; in addition to many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and cherished friends.
Phyllis was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Walter;andhersiblings: Alfred, Leo, Tom, Emile, Agnes Abbott, Wilfred, and Dan.
A Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Ma-Me-O Beach, Alberta on Friday, December 4, 2020 with the Reverend Father Sylvio Lacar, Celebrant.
