In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness and much love that Ralph's family announces his peaceful passing on May 7, 2023 at the age of 79 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Originally from Saskatoon, Ralph was a noted supporter of the Wetaskiwin community and local sports teams.
He was actively employed and involved with McDonald's Canada for over 30 years, winning Canadian Manager of the Year seven times. Ralph had an impact on everyone he met due to his positive attitude, generosity, and humorous nature, establishing many life-long friendships along the way. Those who knew Ralph understood his passion for sports, especially the NHL, MLB, and his love of the Habs.
We ask that you keep Ralph in your hearts and cherish the memories and special times you shared together. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Canterbury Foundation in Edmonton for their loving and compassionate care provided to Ralph.
As per Ralph's request, no funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, it was Ralph's wish that memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to the Ronald McDonald House and/or the Canterbury Foundation in Edmonton in memory of Ralph Dopko.
