1937-2021 ~ Ronald Jonathan Robert Midtdal, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday April 28, 2021, in Red Deer, Alberta.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Leona; his children, Grant (Brenda), Colleen (Bruce), and Delores (Ray); his grandchildren, Dustin (Lisa), Allen (Lori), Lucas, Janine; his great- grandchildren, Kolby & Rowdy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, Jostein & Esther Midtdal; his siblings, Mildred (Louis), Roy (Catherine), Myrtle, Gordon (Vivian), and Donald.
Ron was a very active community member and volunteered on numerous boards and councils throughout the years. Above all, he loved to farm, he loved his family, and he loved God.
The funeral was held Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Ma-Me-O Beach, Alberta and was live streamed via the Sacred Heart Catholic Church-Wetaskiwin Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/sacredheartwetaskiwin.
