Ingredients:
2 lbs. Beef sirloin (or round steak), cut into six pieces
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1 Tbsp. Oil
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tsp beef bouillon powder
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 tsp garlic powder
12 baby red potatoes with peel left on
24 peeled baby carrots
2 medium onions cut into wedges
Instructions:
Pound steaks well with meat mallet.
Mix flour, salt and pepper in shallow dish. Dip both sides of steak in to coat.
Heat half of cooking oil in non stick frying pan. Add three steaks and brown both sides well. Arrange in medium roaster. Repeat with remaining three steaks. Stir next five ingredients together in small bowl. Pour over steaks. Cover. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until tender.
