Dear editor,

When the PC’s voted for Jason Kenny they voted to end what has been the PC Party of Alberta. No matter what happens with the vote to unite the right the end of the PC party has come about. Even if the vote to unite is voted down Jason Kenny will probably cross over to the Wildrose party because he knows that is the only way he will have any power. Power is what he wants.

As Brian Jean made his intentions known I thought he had let all the members of the Wildrose Party down, but it has turned out that I was wrong. His announcement has made everyone think about Alberta politics and has made us all very proud that we belong to a party that had foresight to ask the PC party to join with us in getting rid of the NDP. Thank-you Brian Jean.

There are really only two choices when it come to political parties in Alberta or in Canada. You have to either vote left or right. If you vote left, you believe that you tax the rich to give to the poor which only works until the rich decide that there is no use working because someone else is going to get what they are working for.

That my dear friend is the end of any nation. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

The person who votes for the right believes that hard work and paying a fair share in taxes will result in a better living for all society. When the people of a country prosper they will share what they have. One good example is Jimmy Patterson” who just gave $75 million to build a hospital in Vancouver. The more prosperous people are, the more they will invest in their country.

We are not free unless government is limited.
